It takes a village to help someone begin again—and at Fresh Start, our volunteers are a vital part of that journey.

We’re currently seeking compassionate, committed individuals and groups to support our mission in a variety of ways:

• Transportation Support – Help residents get to appointments, jobs, or community events.
• Front Office Assistance – Greet visitors, answer phones, and support day-to-day operations.
• Resident Engagement – Offer social activities, host small gatherings, or simply spend time encouraging connection.
• Donation & Supply Help – Assist with organizing donated items or hosting a supply drive.
• Home & Garden Help – Volunteer to assist with cleaning common areas or helping maintain our garden spaces.
• Meal Support – Provide or prepare meals for our residents.
• Workshop Leaders – Facilitate sessions on parenting, finances, job readiness, or other life skills.
• Mentorship & Encouragement – Build relationships that inspire hope and healing.
• Events & Outreach – Help us plan, promote, or staff community events and awareness efforts.

We welcome individuals, groups, churches, and businesses for one-time or recurring service days. All volunteers must be age 18 or older. Some roles require orientation and/or a background check. Volunteers must also be sober while serving in any capacity.
